Frequently Asked Questions
1) What do I need for you to be able to set up a water slide?
A water hose and power outlet(s) are all you will need. You will need to make sure your water hose is long enough to reach the set-up area. We will hook your hose into the hose that is attached to the slide. The power outlet needs to be no more than 50ft away from the set-up area. If your slide requires more than one blower, you will need one circuit, separate outlet, per blower. We provide all the cords, tarps, and safety equipment to make sure your water slide is properly installed.
2) What do I need for you to be able to set up a dry bounce house?
Just a power outlet no more than 50ft away from the set-up area. We provide all the cords, tarps, and safety equipment to make sure your bounce house is properly installed. For safety reasons, DO NOT use a water hose on a dry bounce house.
3) When do you deliver and pick up?
If you choose one-day delivery, your slide or bounce house will be delivered the morning of your selected date, usually sometime between 8-11 and will be picked up the same evening, usually before sunset. You will receive a text message with the delivery time, typically sent the day before. Please add in the notes, during checkout, the time of the Party.
If your party is later in the evening, or ends after dark, please select the overnight option or call us for other arrangements.
If you choose the overnight option at checkout, your slide or bounce house will be delivered on Friday and picked up on Monday.
Sometimes, our schedule gets busy, and we may need to drop off the night before or pick up the morning after. We will not know this until the day before your party, but you will receive a text message or a phone call with a time.
4) Is there a deposit required to make a reservation?
Yes, we require a $50 deposit at the time of booking. The deposit will come off the total amount due, which is due one day before delivery. All deposits are non-refundable but can be used to change your date if you need to reschedule for any reason. Please note that once delivered and set-up, there will not be any refunds or changes made to the reservation.
5) Will my deposit be refunded if I cancel?
Deposits are non-refundable, but you can reschedule using the deposit for up to one year. Call us as soon as you know you need to cancel, and we will get you rescheduled.
6) What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, call us as soon as possible. All deposits are non-refundable, but we will move the party date up to one year away. Once we have delivered and set-up, we do not give refunds for any reasons, including weather.
If the weather calls for us to cancel before delivery, we will refund your deposit or reschedule your party. Examples of weather cancellations include hurricanes, tornado threats, high winds (20 mph or higher for all day), or all-day thunderstorms. If it is a slight chance for just rain, we will still deliver. We live in Florida and the rain chances go away just as fast as they come.
7) What is the cost to deliver to my address?
When you start your reservation, you will put in the zip code from the drop-down menu. It will give you the exact price of delivery. We do not charge any additional fees or set up cost.
8) Are you insured for Community Events or School Water Days?
Yes, we are fully insured. If you need a Certificate of Insurance for your event, please call or email us at info@bbbouncejumpllc.com at least one week prior to the event date.
9) Do I need to be present for you to be able to deliver?
YES. The person that signs the rental agreement must be present. If you are not there when we arrive, we will not be able to set-up. We will leave and will have to come back at a later time when we finish making all of our other deliveries, which also might cause us to be late for your party. If for some reason, you cannot be there, please call us as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements for you.
10) Can the waterslide be set up on concrete, asphalt, or a hard surface?
NO. The waterslide must be set up and used on grass. Hard surfaces can cause injury to the person sliding down, hitting the bottom.
11) Can the dry slide or bounce house be set up on concrete, asphalt, or a hard surface?
Yes. As long as it is pre-arranged with our office first. Please note, there is an additional charge to set up on hard surfaces.
